OUT OF MADNESS

 

The journey was very long and we had only covered less than quarter. My cousin sister was walking behind me. She was tired and punting like a sheep in a hot sun in a desert. The dry dust of the semi-desert was brushing our faces like the ocean waves do on the cliffs. It was eroding our faces till we shade tears. Our eyes were getting sore and our noses were getting blocked. My ears were getting heavy and I was adding up my speed of walking. We were in a large jungle of acacia and thorny bushes full of crazy wild dogs and lions. The afternoon sun was now bowing down for her God, disappearing into the horizon and leaving the sky red like blood and going away with its light, putting life almost to standstill.

 

It was very hard to notice all these changes take place as we plunged our bodies into the now beginning Cimmerian darkness. Suddenly I heard a screaming sound behind me. Immediately I was startled.
